About Me

Picture

Hello everyone! I'm Sierra, currently I am senior student at Wright State Unveristy studying Computer Science. I plan after graduation to work as either a Web Developer or Database Administrator in the Dayton area. I love the Dayton area, as I have grown-up here with my mother, father, and younger sister who is a currently a sophmore at Wright State studying in the arts. Currently though I live with my Fiance who I have been with for 4 years and is my high school sweetheart. When I'm not studying or spending time with family I enjoy baking, hiking, and playing video games.

I've created this website for my UH4000, Surviving Apocalypse course at Wright State. This website was created with the intention to upload my assisgnments for the course which will consist of blogs and a final project. The blogs will hightlight my in depth thoughts on the courses assigned readings. While the final project will tie-in all the topics talked about in an interseting way.

My interests in this website has they pertain the course will be focusing on more how people lead the to collapse of socitey, than opposed to nature. For example, I plan to tackle areas of societal collpase that mainly focus on areas of pandemic, social injustice, and the need for people to create more advanced intuitions constantly, to solve problems.

My content on this site will refect on course content in the following ways. My blogs will refect on themes present in the novels, these themes range from: women rights, the pysche of war, etc. These themes are themes that conside with the theme of apocalypse and highlight the struggles of the main charachers in the novels during the time of an apocalypse.

My final project will tie in all the themes from the class and will cover the real life apocalypse like event of COVID-19.
